5 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Anibal Sanchez (hamstring), who threw 41 pitches in a simulated game on Saturday, will throw a bullpen session on Monday. If all goes well, he'll be in line to start on Wednesday against the Braves. However, there's still a chance that the Nats make Sanchez throw in a rehab start before coming off the injured list. The 35-year-old right-hander hasn't been good this year, going 0-6 with a 5.10 ERA, 1.68 WHIP and 41 strikeouts to 25 walks in 42 1/3 innings over his nine starts. He won't be a recommended fantasy streamer if he makes the start on Wednesday against Atlanta, and he's probably only worth using in NL-only leagues these days.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
