6 years agoWashington Nationals manager Dave Martinez said that starting pitcher Anibal Sanchez was hit with a ball on his hip flexor and is dealing with a significant bruise. The veteran right-hander allowed four hits and four earned runs while walking four and striking out three in four innings in his first start against the Phillies on Wednesday. We aren't expecting him to be quite as good as he was with Atlanta last year, and he'll be a risky fantasy choice in a rematch with the Phillies next week if he's even able to make that start.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
