6 years agoLos Angeles Angels first baseman Justin Bour is hitting the ball with authority in spring training, leading the team with three home runs despite hitting only .235 through 34 exhibition at-bats. Bour was acquired over the winter to bring a run-producing presence to the lineup and provide some thump from the left side in the middle of the order. Bour really struggled with injuries and ineffectiveness last season after a breakout campaign in 2017. So which player will the Angels see? A .270 BABIP last season could see a positive bump and, if healthy, should be able to match his career slugging percentage of .466 after posting a .404 slugging last season. Bour will not be anywhere close to a top-10 selection among first basemen in fantasy drafts but could help rosters at some point this season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
