Andy Dalton Struggles Before Being Forced From The Game
4 years agoDallas Cowboys quarterback Andy Dalton struggled again in Week 7 before being forced to leave after being hit in the head while sliding. Dalton completed nine of his 19 pass attempts for 75 scoreless yards and an interception. He ran the ball three times for 16 yards, but unfortunately his last run ended on a cheap hit to the helmet that resulted in the Washington Football Team defenseman being ejected from the game. Dalton was down on the field and had to be helped off. He is being evaluated for a concussion and seems 50-50 at best to be able to make the Week 8 start. He was replaced by rookie Ben DiNucci, who only attempted three passes. As poorly as Dalton has played in his two starts this season, it would be an even bigger downgrade to the entire Cowboys offense if he were to miss any starts.
