2 years agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Andy Dalton completed all five attempts for 51 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 17-13 loss to the Houston Texans. He drew the start in the Saints' first preseason game with Jameis Winston inactive due to a sprained foot. The 34-year-old looked sharp and connected with Dwayne Washington for a nine-yard touchdown. He is expected to be the Saints' backup quarterback behind Winston. If Winston's injury history acts up as it did in Tampa Bay, the switch to Dalton should not be a big hit to the wide receivers or running backs in fantasy production this season.--Ryan_Daugherty
