Andrew Peeke On Track To Return On Friday
11 months agoBoston Bruins defenseman Andrew Peeke (finger) has been declared available for Friday's Game 3 against Florida and is expected to replace Parker Wotherspoon on the third defensive pairing. Peeke returns from a finger injury he suffered in the opening-round battle against the Maple Leafs. The 26-year-old recorded three blocks and four hits with a minus-one rating in the first couple of postseason games before getting hurt. Peeke has yet to score for the Bruins since joining the team from Columbus in March but did post two assists in 15 games during the regular season.

Andrew Peeke Out Week-To-Week
5 months agoBoston Bruins defenseman Andrew Peeke (upper body) will be sidelined for multiple games. He suffered an upper-body injury on Tuesday versus Toronto and will be out week-to-week. Peeke is among Boston's top shot-blockers with 21 and has notched two assists with seven shots and 18 hits in 13 games. Mason Lohrei is set to re-enter the lineup on Thursday versus Calgary to work with Parker Wotherspoon on the third defensive pairing. Lohrei has shown good offensive upside, scoring four points (one goal, three assists) in 10 appearances. However, as a third-pairing defenseman, he won't get enough usage to make an impact in fantasy hockey.

Andrew Peeke Sustains An Upper-Body Injury Tuesday
5 months agoBoston Bruins defenseman Andrew Peeke suffered an upper-body injury in Tuesday's 4-0 loss to Toronto. He played less than five minutes and was limited to six shifts because of the injury. Peeke fills a bottom-pairing role in defense for Boston and has registered two assists across 13 outings with seven shots, 21 blocks, and 18 hits. The team will miss Peeke's physicality if he's out on Thursday against Calgary. Mason Lohrei, who has amassed four points (one goal, three assists) in 10 appearances this season, is the most likely replacement for Peeke.

Andrew Peeke Considered Week-To-Week
12 months agoBoston Bruins defenseman Andrew Peeke (finger) has been labeled as week-to-week after he was hurt in Game 2 against the Maple Leafs on Monday. The 26-year-old was limited to 10:20 of action due to an apparent finger injury and missed the entire third period. Peeke hasn't traveled with the team to Toronto, meaning he will sit for at least two games. Mason Lohrei or Parker Wotherspoon should take his spot in the lineup on Wednesday. Derek Forbort (undisclosed) has also traveled with the team but isn't expected to feature in Game 3.
