Andrew Nardi Notches Rare Save Sunday
1 year agoMiami Marlins left-handed pitcher Andrew Nardi picked up his second save of the season in a 4-2 win over the Washington Nationals. Nardi allowed just a hit while firing a pair of strikeouts in his inning of work. Although Nardi has been good this season, the only reason he was in for the save today was that A.J. Puk worked the previous two days and Dylan Floro faced the top of the Nats order in the eighth inning. He remains third on the pecking order for saves and doesn't need to be rostered in traditional leagues.
