Andrew Miller Has a "Better Feel" After a Battery of Tests
5 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals relief pitcher Andrew Miller (arm) underwent a battery of tests, including blood tests and an MRI of his head, in an attempt to determine why he was losing feeling in his fingers. He threw a bullpen session and reportedly had a "better feel" for the ball. He said he hopes to "push" the pace, and there will be more updates soon. It's certainly good news for Miller and the Cardinals, but there's currently no timeline for his return. At this point, he should be considered questionable, at best, for Opening Day. Miller was one of the most dominant left-handed relievers in the game, but he's had a couple disappointing seasons recently and is mostly just an option in holds leagues, although he could also see some save chances if he's healthy.
