Andrew Kittredge With A Short Outing April 8
7 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Andrew Kittredge started versus Boston Sunday. He went two innings allowing a lone run. He would start a process of relievers who would have the Rays up 7-2 after seven innings. Boston would then destroy the backend of the bullpen for six runs in the eighth inning to win 8-7. He now has started twice during scheduled bullpen games and gone 5 1/3 innings allowing three runs (two earned) before giving way to the next arm out of the bullpen. In his lone major league season of 2017, he pitched 15 times out of the bullpen totaling 15 1/3 innings. He performed well with a 1.76 ERA and 14 strikeouts. However, he is a very risky option, especially since there are others options they could give starts to. Look elsewhere in DFS and be careful in seasonal even in a league deep enough for him to be rostered.
