Andrew Kittredge With A Short First Outing
7 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Andrew Kittredge went 3 1/3 innings Saturday versus Boston. He allowed two runs but only one was earned. In his lone major league season, he pitched 15 times out of the bullpen totaling 15 1/3 innings. He performed well with a 1.76 ERA and 14 strikeouts. This was his first MLB start so it is not necessarily an inditement that they pulled him early. However, he is a very risky option, especially since they have not even officially given him another scheduled start yet. Look elsewhere in DFS and be careful in seasonal even in a league deep enough for him to be rostered.
