Colorado Avalanche center Andrew Cogliano has announced his retirement from the NHL. He has called it a day after spending 17 seasons in the league. Cogliano, who turned 37 a week ago, suited up for 1,294 regular-season contests, posting 190 goals and 464 points. The veteran forward had 19 points (six goals, 13 assists) in 75 outings with the Colorado Avalanche this season. He also played in Edmonton, Anaheim, Dallas, and San Jose. Cogliano, who won the Stanley Cup with the Avalanche in 2022, will stay involved with the franchise by taking up a front-office role.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
