Andrew Cashner Receives Injection In Neck
6 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Andrew Cashner (neck) received an injection for neck spasms and may not pitch again before the All-Star break next week. It's not the first time he's had such an injection in the past. The veteran right-hander is sporting a 4.56 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and a mediocre 7.2 K/9 in 18 starts (100 2/3 innings). He doesn't miss enough bats to be much more than an AL-only streamer, and on top of it he plays for the lowly Orioles in a hitter-friendly home park.
