6 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Andrew Cashner (knee) received a cortisone injection in his left knee on Thursday, but he'll try to throw on Saturday. He's dealing with patella bursitis and has affected him for the last two to three weeks. Cashner believes the injury could be a reason for his lack of fastball command of late. There's a chance he still makes his next start, but it's up in the air. Cashner has been one of the worst starters in baseball this year, so his injury makes him even more unattractive in the deepest of leagues. He's 2-6 with a 7.97 ERA in eight starts since Aug. 2.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
