5 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Andrew Benintendi (side) is not in the starting lineup on Sunday and is being listed as day-to-day. J.D. Martinez will move over the left field and is hitting cleanup against Padres left-handed starter Joey Lucchesi. It made even more sense to sit Benintendi with the team facing a southpaw. Martinez has been extremely hot in the second half of the season and is hitting .312/.388/.570 with 30 homers, 81 runs and 82 RBI on the season.
