Andrew Benintendi Dealing With A Wrist Issue
1 year agoChicago White Sox outfielder Andrew Benintendi (wrist) has been kept out of the last two contests due to a wrist issue. Per manager Pedro Grifol, the wrist has bothered Benintendi most of the season so they held him out of the last two contests to give him nearly a week's rest with the All-Star break coming up. The team is hoping he can avoid a stint on the injured list and will be ready to go for next Friday's series opener against the Atlanta Braves. The fact that the 29-year-old has been dealing with this issue all season would go a long way in explaining his power drain, he has just one long ball in 314 at-bats this year.
