Andres Munoz Pulled From Saturday's Game After Feeling Light-Headed
1 year agoSeattle Mariners reliever Andres Munoz (head) was removed from Saturday's game against the Baltimore Orioles after feeling light-headed. According to Mariners manager Scott Servais, Munoz was checked out by the team doctors and thinks he'll be fine. He allowed one hit while striking out one across 2/3 of an inning before exiting. The 24-year-old is considered day-to-day. Munoz owns a 0.89 WHIP and a 14: 3 K: BB across nine scoreless innings in 2023. Paul Sewald is Seattle's primary closer, as Munoz continues to be used as the Mariners' top setup man. Munoz should be rostered in most league formats after racking up a total of six saves and holds in 2023.
