Andres Munoz Could Return Tuesday
1 year agoSeattle Mariners relief pitcher Andres Munoz (shoulder) is likely to return to the team on Tuesday following a rehab stint in Triple-A Tacoma. Munoz has been out since April 7 while dealing with shoulder tightness and has experienced some setbacks along the way. He seems to be feeling good now, though, and has looked solid on his rehab assignment, throwing three scoreless frames. When he returns, he is likely to be used in high-leverage situations, but Paul Sewald has looked very good in the closer role this season and is unlikely to be usurped. He should still be rostered in most leagues, as he will provide good ratios and strikeouts while getting the occasional save.
