4 months agoArizona Diamondbacks third base prospect Andres Chaparro was traded to the Washington Nationals in exchange for relief pitcher Dylan Floro. Chaparro sat outside of the top 30 prospects in Arizona on MLB.com but has taken significant steps forward this summer. With Triple-A Reno, the 25-year-old held an excellent .332/.403/.564 line with 19 home runs, 75 RBI, and three stolen bases. This is a stark contrast to the .247/.331/.441 line he posted last summer at the Triple-A level.
