Andrelton Simmons Resting Saturday
5 years agoLos Angeles Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons is not in the starting lineup on Saturday. Simmons recently returned from the injured list, so the Angels are likely easing him back into action. David Fletcher will start at shortstop and hit leadoff against Astros left-hander Wade Miley. Fletcher has been very valuable for the Halos for his ability to play all over the field. The 25-year-old also makes plenty of contact and is hitting .288/.346/.397. He doesn't have much power (fiver homers), but Fletcher is valuable in deep mixed and AL-only leagues for his ability to get on base and hit for average. He's also scored 70 runs and stolen eight bags in 468 at-bats. He's not a bad DFS sleeper against the southpaw.
