Andre Pallante Tosses Seven Innings
St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Andre Pallante had his longest outing of the season in Thursday's victory versus the Pittsburgh Pirates. Pallante tossed seven innings of one-run ball and allowed four hits, one walk and struck out five in the contest. Pallante has been pretty solid for the Cardinals and is 4-3 with a 4.00 ERA in 16 games (seven starts). The right-hander has never had overpowering stuff and that limits his strikeouts significantly and due to that, he is best used as a streamer at the moment. Next up for Pallante will be a matchup versus the Kansas City Royals.
