The Colorado Avalanche acquired left wing Andre Burakovsky from the Washington Capitals over the weekend in exchange for second- and third-round picks in the 2020 NHL Entry draft, as well as the negotiating rights to Scott Kosmachuk. The left wing can become a restricted free agent on Monday. He scored just 12 goals with 25 points last season, but he could flourish with a bigger opportunity for an Avalanche team looking for a little more depth.
