Amen Thompson Has Grade 2 Ankle Sprain
1 year agoHouston Rockets guard Amen Thompson (ankle) will miss the remainder of Summer League. The rookie got his first taste of NBA action on Friday in the win over the Portland Trail Blazers, finishing with 16 points, five assists, four blocks, and three steals in 28 minutes. However, he suffered a Grade 2 sprain in his left ankle and was ruled out for the remainder of the contest. Thompson will be in a boot for a week and is looking at a three-to-four-week recovery. Fortunately, things could have been worse, and he should be ready to go for the start of the 2023-24 campaign, barring a setback.
