Amed Rosario Swipes Two Bags
4 months agoTampa Bay Rays utilityman Amed Rosario joined in on the fun in the team's 13-0 victory versus the Toronto Blue Jays on Thursday. Rosario started at third base and went 3-for-6 with a pair of runs and two stolen bases. The veteran has had a nice comeback season in Tampa Bay with a .311 batting average to go along with two homers, 26 RBI and nine stolen bases, but he hasn't gotten consistent playing time. That could all change with the trade of outfielder Randy Arozarena on Thursday night. If Rosario were to see an uptick in playing time, his versatility could make him a solid end-of-the-roster bat in deeper mixed leagues. However, other than speed and batting average, he doesn't offer much to be excited about.
