Amari Cooper Looks To Bounce Back In Week 6
4 years agoDallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper will look to bounce back from a rough Week 5 in a Week 6 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. Cooper was blanketed in coverage by James Bradberry last week while pretty much every other Cowboys receiving option had a plus matchup, so he was expected to struggle a bit. Still, his two catches for 23 yards was a disappointment after he saw 16 targets in Week 4. With Dak Prescott (ankle) done for the season, Andy Dalton will take over under center for the Cowboys. While he's no Dak Prescott, Dalton should be more than capable of moving the ball and scoring points. It's not too much of a downgrade for a receiver of Cooper's caliber. The Cardinals Defense doesn't often use Patrick Peterson in shadow coverage, so Cooper should be able to avoid him on some plays depending on how the Dallas offense lines up. He's a mid-range WR1 with upside this week.
