1 year agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper is coming off a seven-catch, 77-yard outing in a Week 14 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Cooper had been struggling in his three previous games before last week but the insertion of Joe Flacco into the team's starting lineup should be good for his fantasy production moving forward. Cooper will now face off against the Chicago Bears at home in Week 15. Chicago has been decent against receivers in 2023, allowing the 18th-most fantasy points per game to the position. Cooper can be utilized as a low-end WR2 heading into the first round of the fantasy playoffs in Week 15.--Matt T - RotoBaller

2 months agoBuffalo Bills wide receiver Amari Cooper caught all four of his targets for 33 yards during Sunday's AFC Championship loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Cooper hadn't totaled more than three catches in a single game since Dec. 8, so it was refreshing to see him get more involved on a steady basis Sunday. However, it wasn't quite enough as the Bills once again failed to take down the Chiefs in the playoffs. Cooper finishes his age-30 season with 50 catches, 588 yards, and four touchdowns split between 17 games with the Bills and Browns. He's slated to hit free agency this March, and a reunion with Buffalo seems unlikely given that he underwhelmed during the final stretch of the 2024 campaign.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller

2 months agoBuffalo Bills wide receiver Amari Cooper has been an unreliable fantasy option lately, and that's unlikely to change during Sunday's AFC Championship against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bills added Cooper midseason to bolster their receiving room, but he has yet to cement himself as a dependable receiving threat week in and week out. Khalil Shakir has remained the undisputed No. 1 receiver in Buffalo, and players like Keon Coleman, Mack Hollins, and Curtis Samuel have all out-produced Cooper at times, too. The 30-year-old was held without a catch last Sunday versus Baltimore, and he hasn't exceeded three targets in any of his last five games. This week's matchup against the Chiefs won't do him any favors, either. From Weeks 12 through 17, Kansas City allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to perimeter receivers like Cooper.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller

2 months agoBuffalo Bills wide receiver Amari Cooper (back) saw one of his lowest snap shares since he joined the team in mid-October in last weeks wild-card win over the Denver Broncos. Granted, Buffalo did blow out the Broncos, but the starters played most of the fourth quarter. Cooper played just over one-third of the offensive snaps. That led to two catches for eight yards. The veteran has been below 50% of the snaps in over half of his games as a Bill. As has been the case for the last few weeks, a back issue has placed him on the injury report, but he doesn't carry an injury designation into the weekend. He shouldn't be used in any fantasy lineups against Baltimore.--Andrew Ball - RotoBaller

3 months agoBuffalo Bills wide receiver Amari Cooper (back) remains a part-time player in this offense. Since he arrived in Buffalo midseason, his highest snap share was 54%. He's been below 50% in half of his games. That leads to dreadful stat lines like one catch for 10 yards in Week 16 and the goose egg he had in Week 15. The veteran almost exclusively lines up outside, where he could see a lot of star Denver cornerback Patrick Surtain II. At least the back issue landing Cooper on the injury report isn't a big deal. He fully practiced this week and doesn't have an injury designation heading into the Wild-Card matchup.--Andrew Ball - RotoBaller
