Alvin Kamara Vital To The Passing Game
5 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara won't see a major increase in workload, and head coach Sean Payton said he likes Kamara's "pitch count" around 65 to 70 percent of the snaps. However, Kamara should remain heavily involved in the passing game, and ESPN's Mike Triplett thinks his 81 catches in 2017 and 2018 are Kamara's floor for 2019. If the Saints fall behind at all this year, Kamara should feast on catches from quarterback Drew Brees. It's exactly why Kamara was a top-five fantasy pick in the first round of drafts, especially in PPR leagues. Triplett's bold prediction is that Kamara catches 100 passes in 2019. He's a must-start elite RB1 each and every week, starting in Week 1 on Monday night against the Texans in the dome.
