Alshon Jeffery Could Continue to Disappoint in Week 14
6 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery has been disappointing for several weeks in a row, and that may not change in Week 14 as the Eagles take on the Dallas Cowboys. Jeffery has just 18 catches for 186 scoreless yards over the past five games and has taken a noticeable backseat to Golden Tate. In the last three games, Tate has seen 23 targets while Jeffery has seen just 13. Jeffery was operating as the WR1 in a strong passing attack earlier this season, but he's slumped to become little more than an ancillary piece. While he's still talented enough to have a blow up week and prove everyone wrong, the first week of the fantasy playoffs is probably not the week to count on that. Jeffery is a middling WR3 until he can prove otherwise.
