Allen Lazard A Viable Flex Option Against Detroit
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard will face the division rival Detroit Lions Sunday night. The 27-year-old has amassed 17 targets over the past two weeks but has been held out of the end zone since Week 9. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has not thrown multiple touchdown passes since Week 12, lowering the fantasy scoring ceiling of all pass catchers in Green Bay. However, with teammate Christian Watson (hip) being limited due to injury, Lazard has a chance to capitalize this week against Detroit. The Lions allow the third-most fantasy points per game to the wide receiver position and have given up the second-most receiving yards. If the targets continue to go his way, the fifth-year receiver could be in for a solid fantasy performance. Consider Lazard a high-end FLEX option with a top 24 ceiling.
