Allen Hurns Not a Fantasy Option in Week 6
Allen Hurns remains well off the fantasy radar for a Week 6 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Hurns has caught a grand total of eight passes this season, gaining 84 yards and scoring one touchdown. That's not even a WR1 game most weeks, let alone when it is five weeks combined. The entire Cowboys wide receiver room is off limits in fantasy even with a good matchup. This week, they take on the league's best passing defense.

Allen Hurns Could Be Cut This Offseason
Allen Hurns could be released this offseason. According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, $2.5 million salary next season is guaranteed, and he's a toss-up at best to make the 53-man roster. If he's cut, the 30-year-old's cap hit drops from $3 million to $433,000. Hurns suffered a wrist injury that required surgery in August and missed the entire 2021 campaign. The veteran hasn't appeared in a game since 2019 after opting out of the 2020 season. Hurns could end up being a cap casualty and find himself searching for a new team this offseason. Stay tuned.
