Alfred Morris Not Worth Starting
6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Alfred Morris has failed to score a touchdown or rush for 50 yards through the first two weeks of the season. The seven-year-pro is averaging a mere 3.3 yards per carry, while looking sluggish at times. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Matt Breida’s workload increase in the coming weeks, which would make Morris nothing more than a desperation, touchdown-dependent fantasy option. Morris should be sitting on your bench this week, despite the favorable matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. The veteran running back is likely another poor outing away from hitting the waiver wire in most leagues.
