2 years agoCincinnati Reds relief pitcher Alexis Diaz took the mound for the second day in a row during Sunday's matchup against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The right-hander struck out one batter in what ended up being a perfect inning. Diaz has picked up back-to-back saves during the first series of the season. That being said, it wouldn't be shocking to see Diaz unavailable for Monday's contest. That means, Ian Gibaut or Buck Farmer could be asked to take the ball in the ninth inning, assuming Diaz doesn't pitch on Monday.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
