St. Louis Blues winger Alexey Toropchenko has agreed to a two-year, $2.5 million contract extension with the team. The 24-year-old was set to start an arbitration process with the Blues in a few days, but the two sides were able to work out a new deal for the restricted free agent. Toropchenko, whose new deal comes with a $1.25 million cap hit, has skated in 97 regular-season games for the Blues, scoring 12 goals and logging 21 points with 191 hits. He's been limited to a bottom-six role on the team, averaging less than 12 minutes of ice time per game, so Toropchenko currently doesn't carry a lot of fantasy value.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
