Alexandre Pantoja Shows Why He's One Of The Best
4 years agoAlexandre Pantoja (23-5) showed why he is the UFC's fifth-ranked flyweight on Saturday night, earning a very impressive unanimous decision over a highly touted debuting star in Manel Kape. Being the busier and more aggressive striker, Pantoja landed 74 significant strikes (77 total strikes) in the 15 minutes of action. Though he was taken down twice, he was able to stuff five attempted takedowns by Kape. Creeping closer to the top of the flyweight division, the battles will only get tougher for Pantoja. However, there is a very good chance that he will continue to score in the fantasy world, at least for a few more bouts.
