Alexander Mattison Faces Another Uphill Battle In Week 6
1 month agoLas Vegas Raiders running back Alexander Mattison will face another tough test when he takes on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6. Mattison struggled in Week 5 against the Denver Broncos' excellent run defense. The sixth-year pro carried the ball 15 times for just 38 yards, averaging only 2.5 yards per carry, and caught two passes on three targets for 23 yards. Pittsburgh boasts a similarly sound run defense, so it's unlikely Mattison will be able to find much more running room. The offense is shaky outside of rookie tight end Brock Bowers. Las Vegas' offensive line isn't stellar, so fantasy managers can expect another pedestrian outing for the former Viking. He probably won't get 15+ touches if backfield mate Zamir White (groin) can suit up on Sunday. The RB37 in RotoBaller's Half-PPR Rankings should be treated as an RB4 and not started outside deep leagues.
