Alexander Albertus Headed To Chicago
4 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers infield prospect Alexander Albertus was traded to the Chicago White Sox in a three-team trade with the St. Louis Cardinals on Monday. Albertus opened the season by getting another look at the Rookie League and posted a dominant .342/.479/.459 line. Then, in late June, the 19-year-old earned a promotion to Single-A, where he has slowed down a bit with a .229/.317/.329 line and only one home run. While Albertus has been shut down for the remainder of the summer due to a stress reaction in his tibia, he should be ready for Spring Training. The young infielder currently sits as the 14th-ranked prospect in the White Sox system.
