6 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Alex Wood, who has been out with a sore back since spring training, is scheduled to throw off a mound on Saturday, which will be his first time doing so since he had a setback on March 24. The left-hander has had multiple setbacks in the process and there remains no timetable for his return, so fantasy owners shouldn't expect him to make his season debut until sometime in May. That's a disappointment for a pitcher whose fantasy stock was down considerably after his trade from the Dodgers to the Reds over the winter.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
