1 month agoWashington Wizards forward Alexandre Sarr had a nightmare in Tuesday's Summer League clash against Portland, finishing an 82-80 loss scoreless on 15 shots. Seven of the misses came from three-point range, and Sarr also came up empty-handed at the free-throw line with two attempts. Per ESPN Stats & Information research, it's the most field goal attempts by a player without a make in a summer league game since at least 2017. If this had been a regular-season contest, Sarr would have been tied for the second most in NBA history. The No. 2 pick of this year's draft has been battling shooting issues throughout the Summer League, going only 19.5 percent from the field.
