Alex Reyes Gives Up Four Runs But Wins
3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals relief pitcher Alex Reyes pitched poorly in Game 1 of Friday's doubleheader, but ended up with a win anyway. Reyes pitched 1 2/3 innings, allowing four runs on two hits and two walks, striking out three and allowing a home run. It was vintage Reyes, who threw only 18 of his 33 pitches for strikes. The win puts him at 10-8 with a 3.28 ERA, and he doesn't seem anywhere close to regaining his closer's role. The middle reliever doesn't need to be rostered in most fantasy formats.
