Alex Reyes Blows His Third Save On Wednesday
3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals closer Alex Reyes was charged with his third blown save of the season in Wednesday's game against the Detroit Tigers. He pitched one inning, allowing a run on two hits. The Cardinals were up 2-1 when Reyes came in, but he allowed the Tigers to tie things up at two runs each. The Cardinals would end up winning in the 10th inning anyway, but Reyes was unable to earn the save and keep things to a nine-inning game. He'll take a 2.54 ERA to the mound his next time out and hope for better results.
