Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic will get the starting nod Friday night versus the visiting Florida Panthers. While Tristan Jarry has started each of the last five games, Nedeljkovic made four starts in a five-game stretch prior to Jarry re-taking the net. The 28-year-old has been excellent when called upon this season, working to a 2.66 goals-against average and a .916 save percentage in 15 outings (13 starts), going an impressive 8-3-2 in that time. Certainly, it's been a bounce-back year for the 2020-21 Calder Trophy finalist as he posted a rough 3.53 GAA and .895 Sv% across 15 appearances with the Red Wings last season while spending much of the season with the AHL's Grand Rapids Griffins.--Brenton Kemp
