Alek Manoah Shelled In Disastrous Rehab Start
8 months agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Alek Manoah (shoulder) allowed seven runs (six earned) on five hits across 1 2/3 innings of work at Single-A Dunedin on Sunday afternoon. He walked four batters and threw just 26 of 58 pitches for strikes. It was a disastrous start for the right-hander as he attempts to return to the Blue Jays starting rotation. Manoah will get a few more rehab starts to iron out the kinks over the next couple weeks. Fantasy managers in deep leagues can utilize an IL-spot on Manoah if so inclined, but it does not seem like he will be able to recapture the form that made him a fantasy star in 2022.
