2 years agoFlorida Panthers goaltender Alex Lyon had another impressive performance as he stopped 39-of-40 shots on goal in Tuesday's 2-1 victory against the Sabres. The 30-year-old goaltender picked up his fourth straight win as he has done a fantastic job while filling in for starting netminder Sergei Bobrovsky, who has been unavailable due to an illness. Lyon has only surrendered five goals over the previous four games and has been critical in the late-season playoff push for the Panthers, as the team is currently tied for the top wild card spot in the Eastern Conference with the New York Islanders.
