5 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Alex Dickerson (back) left the game early Friday night with back tightness and will not be in the lineup on Saturday as a result. Dickerson has an extensive injury history, so the team is hoping it's not a serious issue that keeps him out for an extended period of time. The 29-year-old has taken advantage of his opportunity with a bad Giants team and is hitting .290/.355/.580 with four home runs, 12 runs, 17 RBI and a steal in his 69 at-bats in 2019. He played in 12 games with the Padres before coming over to the Gigantes. Austin Slater would see more playing time in the outfield for however long Dickerson is out.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
