Alex Dickerson Back In The Lineup Wednesday
4 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Alex Dickerson was activated from the injured list on Tuesday after missing nearly two weeks with an upper back strain. He was held out of Tuesday's starting lineup with the left-handed Andrew Heaney on the mound for the Los Angeles Angels, but came on as a pinch-hitter and went 0-for-1. For Wednesday's game, he's back in the team's starting lineup with right-hander Shohei Ohtani pitching for the Angels. Dickerson is hitting second and playing designated hitter. Through 52 games on the year, Dickerson is slashing .224/.293/.396 with six home runs, 22 RBI and 17 runs. He should be in the starting lineup most games where the team faces a righty going forward.
