7 years agoTampa Bay Rays closer Alex Colome earned a save Monday versus the Royals. He came into the ninth inning with a one-run lead and worked around a triple to earn his seventh save of the season. It has been a rough season, but Colome likely has a long leash, as he tallied 84 saves the past two seasons. Stick with Colome in all leagues, but just know that the frequency of his save chances will be few and far between on a bad Rays team this year.--Jamie Mellor
