7 years agoTampa Bay Rays closer Alex Colome earned a save for the second straight day Tuesday versus the Royals. He struck out one while allowing a single hit. He would earn his eighth save of the season. It has been a rough season, but Colome likely has a long leash, as he tallied 84 saves the past two seasons. Stick with Colome in all leagues, but just know that the frequency of his save chances will be few and far between on a bad Rays team this year.--Jamie Mellor
