Alex Cobb Could Miss Opening Day
6 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Alex Cobb was forced from his spring start on Saturday with a right groin strain, and he's now questionable to start on Opening Day against the Yankees on Thursday. There are no plans for him to undergo an MRI exam and he expects to test his groin in a side session on Monday. Cobb finished strong for the O's in the second half last year but shouldn't have been on the radar of anyone in a mixed league in 2019. This injury drops his fantasy value even further.
