6 years agoThe Arizona Diamondbacks placed catcher Alex Avila on the injured list on Sunday after he strained his left quadriceps while circling the bases on a home run on Friday. He was hitting .333 with two home runs and five RBI in six games this year and was only attractive in deep two-catcher or NL-only leagues. Infielder/outfielder Tim Locastro was recalled from Triple-A in a corresponding move. Carson Kelly should now split time behind the dish with John Ryan Murphy for the Snakes.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
