Florida Panthers center Aleksander Barkov picked up a goal and an assist in Saturday's season finale, giving him 96 points on the season. Barkov had been tied with Pavel Bure for most points in a single season by a Panthers player going into the game but took sole possession of the record with a second-period goal. No stranger to a heavy workload, Barkov saw more than 23 minutes of time on ice for the second straight game, as it seemed there was a concerted effort to help him break the record. With a point total that is 18 points higher than his previous career high and a shooting percentage (17 percent) significantly higher than his career average (13.7 percent), Barkov is likely due for some regression next year, but regardless he has established himself as one of the premier centers in the league.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
