Alek Manoah Has Excellent Start In Double-A
1 year agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Alek Manoah showed signs of improvement in his latest minor league start with Double-A New Hampshire, throwing five innings of one-run ball. He allowed just three hits and had an impressive 10 strikeouts. The only flaw in this start was that he still walked three, but that number is at least manageable. With Blue Jays management saying they have seen good signs from the big righty, it's possible that he returns after the all-star break if things keep going in a positive direction. Fantasy managers may want to take a shot on the former all-star bouncing back in the second half, and now would be a good time to stash him coming off his best outing of the season (albeit in Double-A).
